Dental Crowns, Kalama Family Dental, Cynthia Lehnertz, DMD

Dr. Cynthia Lehnertz office offers the most comprehensive crown work in the area.

A crown is a tooth restoration that completely covers every visible part of the tooth, which is why it is sometimes referred to as “a cap.” A crown is necessary when a large cavity threatens the health of a tooth. A crown is bonded to the tooth and can be made from a number of different types of material. Dental crowns are used to both improve the health, strength and appearance of a tooth.

The crown procedure is a two step process:

  1.  The first visit is to remove all decay, prep the tooth and then take an impression so we can design a beautiful crown.
  2. The second visit is to permanently cement the crown onto your tooth.
It is Dr. Lehnertz’s commitment to using top of the line materials and exceeding your expectations that makes us a great choice. We work with you, help you understand your options, before doing any work.
